Layered Casserole
1 pound hamburger
1 large onion, chopped
4 to 5 medium potatoes
1 can whole kernel corn
1 can tomatoes
Salt and pepper, to taste
Brown the hamburger in a cast iron Dutch oven; drain drippings. Add onion, potatoes, corn and tomatoes in layers. Add water, if needed, to form liquid. Cover with a tight lid and simmer until potatoes are done.
